Michele Eddy has been grinding spices for friends and family for over 18 years. In 2010 Michele and Stu Eddy started selling their spices as James Creek Sutlery at their local hometown farmers market in Lapeer, Michigan, with just four different spices. Over the years it has grown and today they have over 80 different products and take their spices around the thumb region of Michigan. Together, they also enjoy sharing their knowledge of cinnamons (over 150 kinds), salts (over 300 kinds in the earth), peppercorns along with pepper berries and the rare pepper rod, and various other spices at private and public presentations. They remain focused on "Old Fashioned" recipes, flavors, packaging and methods to bring out the best each spice has to offer. As they say, "...uncork, and smell the pureness within."
